I am totally against violence in any form and especially men’s brutality to their counterparts. I believe as human beings we deserve respect, both men and women included. And I don’t believe in the fact that just because someone is a woman she should be sidelined and denied the opportunities. Both men and women are entitled to equal rights and freedom.
Yes, everyone is equal for having had the opportunity to be a human. But I am against some people who go the extent of saying that there are no differences between a man and a woman. In order to demonstrate that there actually is no difference, some women go to the extent of playing khuru in Bhutan. That’s really a recent trend. There has never been a precedent of women playing that game in history. And just because some women choose to play khuru, will it make any difference? Women weave, but men can’t. Men tilled the land and women tended the house. Now that’s extreme, I know. I don’t believe in saying women are genetically weak. Some are really strong.
But again I am really against men’s brutality. There are differences, but men and women should respect these differences. Men who do not know their places and cowardly pour out their frustrations on women are sheer signs of weakness. Something must be wrong with the person.
Domestic violence is hateful. It is harmful to children. It is evil. As you read this, please say NO to VIOLENCE against WOMEN.
