According to research, people who take afternoon naps usually have lower risks of dying from heart-related diseases. This research contends is because the naps reduce the stress in working people by giving them enough rest. "Those who took naps of more than 30 minutes three or more times a week had 37% lower risk." This man well understands the importance of afternoon naps.
Thus, in the midst of extreme heat, he puts himself down to the much needed nap.
And look how equipped he is to fight heat! Marvelous!
What about a person who takes 4 hours nap daily, which makes 28 hours a week? He will never die, will he? I was me! some months ago, now I hardly have time to breath!
ReplyDeletei wonder if my late apa knew what he was doing was the right thing... he would take a short nap (and a snory one!) every afternoon after lunch... and we'd bunk off at that time if we were upto something mischievous...feeling good to remember
